What We Do
Sandy has facilitated many Facebook Groups which have built and established a community of people who share a desire to learn, create and accumulate skills together. She has recently launched Homesteading Kind of Life to reach a broader online community. Sandy is not only a wealth of knowledge, but she is also passionate about bringing people together, whether its across her own kitchen table or online.
A Homesteading Kind of Life is a community where everyone is welcome, and it is free to join.

About Us
Sandy and her family live in Ontario, Canada where they enjoy learning skills together as they navigate their Homesteading Kind of Life. Each year they expand their gardens and self-sufficiency skills using new techniques, trial and error, a shoe-string budget, up-cycling and relying on the creative repurposing of everyday items.
They will attempt to update you on their newest ventures, their day to day minutiae, share their progress and set-backs. They know the value of having shared big dreams and that living your best life starts with small steps, often includes overcoming obstacles and requires the need for ongoing flexible thinking and revisions.

We host our kitchen table gatherings in a cozy family friendly atmosphere. Our interactive workshops are hands on and will send you home with new skills and new homesteading friends. Not in the area? Not a problem! We are setting up to launch the availability to join online!
Send us an email or keep an eye on our Facebook page to hear about our next event!
